Protein A Resins

Protein A Captarose HL is prepared by coupling a robust alkaline-resistant Protein A ligand to a high-rigidity agarose matrix. This resin exhibits excellent ligand stability, minimal ligand leaching during purification, and facilitates easy removal of residual ligands in downstream processes. It can be efficiently cleaned in place (CIP) with 0.1⁓0.5M NaOH, eliminating the need for expensive and corrosive CIP reagents, thereby providing cost savings. It also offers good flow rates, pressure tolerance, and scalability, making it an ideal choice for monoclonal antibody purification.
