The IB series of serum-free cell culture mediums is a proprietary development by YSK, designed as a universal serum-free suspension culture medium for lepidopteran insect cells. It is extensively used for the suspension culture of Sf9, High Five, and other lepidopteran insect cells, as well as for protein expression in baculovirus systems.
