IMAC Resins

The IMAC Singarose FF are metal chelating affinity chromatography media prepared by coupling nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) to 6% highly cross-linked agarose. These media, which are not pre-chelated with metal ions, can provide four coordination sites for metal ion chelation, resulting in a more stable binding of the chelated metal ions and allowing them to withstand certain concentrations of reducing agents. After users chelate metal ions such as Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Ni(2+), Co(2+), etc., these media can be used for the separation and purification of recombinant proteins and natural proteins.
